Neva Clayton is a graduate of the
Professional Massage Therapy Program at the Virginia School of
Massage, where she joined the staff in 1996. She started a private
practice in Harrisonburg, Virginia, moving it to the Bompiani
Chiropractic Center in 1998 which she still continues. Over the
years, Neva has taught a variety of classes at the Virginia School
of Massage as well as specialized workshops.
Neva earned Masters and Educational Specialist degrees in
Community Agency Counseling at James Madison University and for a
time divided her work between counseling and massage therapy. She
ultimately focused her work on massage therapy and teaching of
massage. The two healing modalities have contributed to her
listening skills and therapeutic approach.
She also attended the School for Women Healers for several years,
learning techniques to explore the spirit and emotions. This
personal work was vital to enhancing her personal and professional
lives. Neva sees her life's work as a journey toward healing and
helping the Earth and Her inhabitants.

Jessica Keller is a Certified Massage Therapist in Virginia. She earned
a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Bridgewater College and
is a graduate and former faculty member of both the Rockingham
Memorial Hospital School of Medical Technology and the Virginia
School of Massage. In addition to massage therapy, Keller’s studies
include Reiki and Healing Touch. She is a graduate of WhiteWinds
Institute of Energetic Healing.

Annette La Rocque Fitzsimmons is a
Certified Massage Therapist in Virginia. She earned a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Dance from Bennington College and danced
professionally in NYC with Steve Paxton. Annette is a graduate of
Potomac Massage Training Institute (PMTI), and she also is a
certified Yoga instructor. She maintains a private practice in
Woodstock, VA.

Richard Sitorius is a Certified Massage Therapist and Certified Integrative Reflexologist. Prior to becoming trained in massage therapy, his previous career was in woodworking. For seven years he worked as a carpenter, and also trained as an apprentice cabinet maker. As early as seven years old Rich was giving foot massages to his family members; he says it was his destiny to be trained in professional massage one day. He graduated from Shenandoah Valley School of Therapeutic Massage, LLC. In his personal life, Rich enjoys practicing hatha yoga, barefoot running and weight training. In addition to teaching deep tissue massage at SVSTM he is the spa manager at the Seasons Spa at The Mimslyn Inn in Luray, VA, and maintains his own massage practice in Harrisonburg, VA. He is currently training in energetic healing and pain relief. Rich is a firm believer in a holistic, balanced approach to health, which includes regular exercise, organic nutrition and of course regular massage!

Leigh Catlett is a Certified Massage Therapist in Virginia and a graduate of the Shenandoah Valley School of Therapeutic Massage, LLC. He maintains a private practice at his home studio in Edinburg as well as a practice in association with Cheff Chiropractic Care in Woodstock. Prior to getting his Massage Certification, Leigh worked in the Theatre industry for over 20 years. He began his theatrical career as a dancer in New York City, dancing on the great stage at Radio City Music Hall as well as various Broadway and National Touring Productions. Between performance gigs, he taught classes at several dance studios in New York City and the surrounding area and worked as a professional trainer and taught movement exercise classes at the New York Health and Racquet Club. It is through the physical and emotional demands of his life's work that he learned the value of a regular massage regimen, and where his passion for becoming certified in Massage Therapy began. He enjoys sharing his passion as an instructor at SVSTM.
